#ShareLove - What is it all about?

Hi reader's

How are you all?

Welcome back if you are a regular reader and hello if you are a new reader.

During the month of May my blog will take a different focus.  It is going to be all about you lovely bloggers under the heading #ShareLove

Recently, after taking part in a blogger chat I was introduced to a campaign that Olivia from Dungarees and Donuts has created called #ShareLove.

Inspired by this I put out a tweet asking for blog links to anyone who would like to feature on my blog during May.  I am so happy with the response. Thank you! Watch this space if you sent me your link under the tweet I posted.  If you sent me your link but didn't put it under the Tweet then drop me a DM via twitter I am @rosiesbeautyuk or email me rosiesbeautyuk@gmail.com as I don't want you to miss out.

Currently, I have 13 confirmed people who will be featured, one person who I am waiting to hear back from and some blogs I would like to promote myself.

Every day from 1 May 2015 until 30 May 2015 a different blogger will be featured.  The post will include your social media links, your blog link and info about what your blog includes.
31 May will be a favorites type post. Still working out how I will do this though so I am not 100% set on what this will include at this stage.

During the campaign I would like to ask the following from you as a reader:
1. Share the love, if you enjoyed reading the post or discover a new blogger through this then tweet about it using the hash tag #ShareLove
2. Leave your link below in the comment.  I want to really encourage people to share who you are as a blogger
3. Positive comments and support only please! All comments on my blog are moderated before published for this reason.

I am very excited about this and I want you all to be excited with me.

#ShareLove

(All blog posts during this campaign are my own thoughts unless otherwise specified.  I am doing this #ShareLove as I feel it is important to give something back.  The #ShareLove was started by Olivia see link above.  I am not being paid for this.  If there is anything that is offensive to you please email me direct rosiesbeautyuk@gmail.com . Photo in this post is my own. Please do not copy without my knowledge. Thanks)

My week off work

I love time off work, who doesn't? Bank holidays are great too as I feel I get extra time off for free.

So what did I get up too on my week off?

Saturday, after finishing work Mr came to meet me for tea at pizza express. I love the Leggera pizza's they are a ring of thin crispy pizza with salad in the middle. I had the Leggera Padanaand it was amazing.
Mr treated us to some fizz and I ran a lovely hot Champneys bubble bath which I shared with you all on Instagram.

We already agreed that we would have the next two days relaxing together, doing chores and blitzing the house clean.

Wednesday was super fun as me, Mr and his little sis took a trip to Colchester zoo. We have been before but it was the first time for our guest. She loved it. The little sis and I got to feed a Giraffe which was super cool. Didn't get a pic this time round but here is one from our visit before.

Have you ever been licked by a cat? That's what it feels like being licked by a giraffe only wetter. It's not a feeling I want to experience in a hurry again.

We didn't bother trying to feed the elephants as the line was massive. However, after returning 10 minutes later the line was basically nothing so me and the little sis ran over, took some cabbage and fed the elephant. Mr missed us with his camera first time round so we went round again. (Excuse the massive arm - that's me.)

The whole day was brilliant. If you get a chance you really should go to Colchester zoo. (Book in advance as your ticket will be cheaper)

We had a family day on Thursday.  Nice meal out, walk along the beach and running around after little ones. Very tiring.

We spent the Easter bank holiday weekend at home relaxing and doing the normal weekend jobs, eating and watching films on sky.

My last day off was bank holiday Monday.  We went into our local city shopping.  I picked up two of the Rita Ora Rimmel nail polishes. One in Roll in the Grass which is a lovely mint green colour.

(Looks kind of blue in the pic sorry) and a lovely lilac shade called Wild-er-Ness. I will show you this colour once I apply it to my nails.

So there you have it.  That's what I have been up to over the last week.

What have you been up to?

March empties

Hi Readers,

Hope you are all having a cracking Easter (ha sorry couldn't help it!)

Switching things up a little this month. I have tried quite few new things and apart from the Maybelline colour tattoo eye creams I cannot think of a single thing that's really blown me away. So here are the products I have used up this month. (with the exception of one)

Product 1. Colgate tooth paste. I am a lady who enjoys a glass or two of red wine and this toothpaste is great for getting rid of that horrid purple colour on my teeth that happens when drinking red wine.

Product 2. Nivea diamond touch. Now I am a massive Nivea fan and I do love a lot of there products. They do or have done a range called happy time which is amazing. But this, not so much.
The smell wasn't that amazing which instantly put me off. It is soft on the skin but I just wasn't that big on it.

Product 3. Nivea again. Double effective makeup remover. This is for eyes but I ended up using it all over my face to remove my makeup. You have to give it a good shake before using it otherwise it can leave a greasy feel over the skin. I have a new cleanser/toner combo but if I see this on offer I'll probably buy it again.

Product 4. Love that body shop offer minis in their products. I have been using the T-tree cleanser. I am a huge fan of all things body shop and use their All in One BB cream daily.
As mentioned I have changed my skin care a little I have purchased the Vitamin E toner. It's lush and I think I want to invest in more products from this range.

My last two products are make up related.
Maybelline mega lash has been my everyday mascara for about a year now. As I have changed over to seventeen 3D mascara i am finally able to bin this.
Maybelline do some really great mascara so I will buy more from them i'm sure.
Last up is Superdrugs BB cream. This is the sneaky addition to the group.  I used this up over summer and have been using body shop BB cream over winter (I do not really wear foundation as I find them to heavy on my skin) so when the summer hits I'll go back to this as it gives a super thin coverage.

So there you have it. My empties post that is replacing my March favorites post.

Have you tried these products or do you have any to recommend?

Please also feel free to leave your links below to your favorites or empties from this month.

Thanks

Rosie xx
